NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL PROPERTY BY MARSHALL ISD: This notice is given pursuant to Chapter 272 of the Texas Local Government Code, the Marshall Independent School District (“MISD”) offers for sale or exchange each of the properties described. Offers must be submitted in a sealed envelope and must be received at the front desk of the Administration Building of the Marshall Independent School District on or before 4:00 p.m., Monday, October 2, 2017. Bid packets on each property may be obtained at the Administration Building. If no qualified bids are received by the deadline, this Notice for Bids renews and continues until the expiration of thirty (30) days, after which, if no qualified bids are received, Notice renews for subsequent periods of 30 days until the property is sold or until the District determines it is unlikely to sell. • Per the Texas Education Agency, Marshall ISD must notify our parents and community members that G.W. Carver Elementary and David Crockett Elementary are in year two of being identified as Improvement Required. Each campus must create a turnaround plan. Campus committees that consist of campus personnel and parent/community members are in the process of finalizing the turnaround plans.
