PRINCIPLES OF BUSINESS, MARKETING AND FINANCE
Students gain knowledge of economics and private enterprise as they study the impact of global business, marketing of products and advertising.

MONEY MATTERS
In this course, students learn the skills necessary to set long-term financial goals and study the impact of the free enterprise system related to consumers and business.

TOUCH SYSTEMS
Students learn proper keyboarding technique as they format and print documents such as business letters, outlines and compositions. Speed and accuracy in using a computer keyboard is emphasized.

INSURANCE OPERATIONS
This course is an introduction to the insurance industry. Students learn the different types of insurance: liability, auto, property, health, unemployment, life and health. They learn the skills necessary to develop a carer in the insurance industry.

BANKING AND FINANCE SERVICES
Students learn the concepts of banking systems, including the financial, international, social and ethical aspects of banking with the goal of becoming competent consumers, employees and entrepreneurs.

BUSINESS INFORMATION MANAGEMENT 1 (BIM 1)
Students learn to create word-processing documents, spreadsheets, databases, and to make electronic presentations using appropriate software.

BUSINESS INFORMATION MANAGEMENT 2 (BIM 2)
Students build on skills learned in BIM 1 to develop complex word-processing documents, spreadsheets with charts and graphs, and to use multimedia software for electronic presentations.
