PRINCIPLES OF HOSPITALITY AND TOURISM
Students learn the basics of this industry including lodging, travel, recreation, resorts and food service

INTRODUCTION TO COOKING AND CULINARY ARTS
This lab course allows students to begin using their knowledge of the food industry and nutrition to make healthy cooking and serving choices

CULINARY ARTS
The art of cooking and the science of baking are explored as students gain further experience in food preparation, restaurant management, and cooking techniques. Students may pursue a national sanitation certification or a Texas culinary specialist certification.

CO-OP IN CULINARY ARTS
Students intern with a local restaurant or food preparation service in order to gain additional skills in the food service industry and to enhance possibilities for employment.
