***Autism Moms of East Texas***

Purpose and Motto:
"Love and Support for those who Love and Support"

Audience:
Mothers of students with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities

Meeting Times:
THIRD Monday of each month (@11am-12pm), at the Learning Resource Center, beginning in September and ending in May.

***Learning Differences Parent Network (LDPN)***

Purpose:
To provide a support system and resource channel for parents/guardians of "Different Learners" to educate on, advocate for, and appreciate the unique gifts of their individual student.
ADVOCATE
for the needs of every child who learns differently
EDUCATE
  on the truths about Different Learners' individual academic gifts
APPRECIATE
 that every child is unique in the way he/she learns.
Audience:  Parents of students from all grade levels with learning differences including but not limited to: Attention Deficit Disorders, Dyslexia, Sensory Integration Disorders, Oppositional Defiance and Behavioral Disorders, Asperger's Syndrome, and Autism.

Meeting Times: 
FIRST Monday of each month (@ 5:15 pm), at the Learning Resource Center, beginning in October and concluding in May - with an open month in January to accommodate the return from the Christmas Break. Therefore, the dates would be as follows:

October 2, November 6, December 4, February 5, March 5, April 2, May 7
