District 3
Helen Warwick was elected to the Board in 2005. She was elected President in 2010 and also served as Secretary from May of 2008 to May of 2010.
Mrs. Warwick is a native of Shreveport, and has lived in Marshall since 1986.
She has a B.S. degree in Elementary Education and Masters of Education from Centenary
College.
Mrs. Warwick is an active member of First United Methodist Church, and is currently serving as chair of the Education Committee.
She has served the students of Marshall ISD through her involvement in PTA. She has served in many leadership positions for PTA from Marshall ISD campus levels, to City Council PTA, Area 13 PTA and even the Texas state PTA board.
She also volunteers for Junior Achievement and the Girls Scouts, which granted her with the
Outstanding Leader Award.
Helen is married to Mike, an attorney, and has two children – Michael, who is a second year law student at William & Mary in Virginia, and Amanda, an eleventh grader at Marshall High School, who is active in varsity choir and tennis.

District 2 Lenora Reed was elected to the Board in 2005, and she was elected vice-president in 2010 and also served as assistant secretary from May 2008 to May of 2010. Mrs. Reed is a native of Marshall. She retired from the Kroger Company in 2001, and started a new career in banking as manager of Woodforest National Bank until she retired in 2008 to spend time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Reed attended Wiley College and took computer courses at Panola College and Manifold Computers. She is a graduate of Leadership Marshall. Mrs. Reed is a member of Newpoint Church of Christ and TOP Ladies of Distinction. She is a past member of Business Professional Women’s Club and the Marshall Rotary Club. She has volunteered with the Marshall Chamber of Commerce. Lenora has been married for over 30 years to James Reed. She has three sons – Charles Cook and Keithon and Kevin Reed. District 4 Sam Fogle was elected to the Board in May 2008. He was elected assistant secretary in May of 2010. He is a native of Harrison County. Mr. Fogle graduated from Marshall High School and Texas A&M University with a BS degree in Agricultural Education. He did post graduate studies in education and business administration at UT Tyler and ETBU. Mr. Fogle worked for 20 years as a human resources professional for a major corporation. He taught construction trades for five years at MHS, and he was employed nine years as facilities director for ETBU. He was also the maintenance director at the University of North Texas. Mr. Folge is a member, deacon and Sunday school teacher at Cumberland Presbyterian Church. He serves on the Board of Directors for the Boys & Girls Club and has extensive work experience in human resources, property management, construction, maintenance, property insurance, budgeting, and finance.
Sam is Married to Dr. Sheryl Fogle, and has four children (two graduated

District 5 Janie Hill was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2008. She was elected Secretary in May of 2010. She is co-owner of Design Media Communications with her husband Keith. She graduated from Southwood High School in Shreveport and attended Northeast Louisiana University. Mrs. Hill is a member of First Baptist Church of Marshall, the Marshall Symphony League, Meals on Wheels, Marshall City Council PTA, School Health Advisory Committee, MHS Baseball Booster Club, and the MHS Choir Booster Club. She has held several PTA positions including local president, treasurer, vice-president, fund raising, and parliamentarian at Crockett, Sam Houston and Marshall Junior High. She is a past president of the City Council PTA. Janie and her husband Keith have two sons- Cade, a student at Marshall Junior High School and Garrett, a student at Marshall High. District 1 Mrs. Charles Wilson was elected to the Board in 1990. She served as secretary from 1995-2007. Mrs. Charles Wilson is retired from American Norit Company. She has a B.S. degree from Wiley College and did additional studies at ETSU. Mrs. Charles Wilson is NAACP president and chairman of the Harrison County Children’s Service Board. She serves on the Marshall Image Advisory Board, Marshall Downtown Development Board, and the Lone Star Legal Aid Board. She was appointed by the Governor to the Texas Hospital Equipment Council. She is a graduate of the TASB Leadership 2000 class and graduated as a Master Trustee. Mrs. Charles Wilson is a member of People’s Missionary Baptist Church. She has two children- Andre Rene’ Keys and Walter L. Wilson III. She has three grandchildren- Andre’ Keys, a student at the University of North Texas; Ashley Keys, a 2005 graduate of Marshall High School; and Brandon Wilson, a student at the University of Houston. Brad Burris

Brad Burris was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2010.
Brad is the owner of Century 21-A Select Group and has offices in Marshall, Hallsville and Jefferson. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1995 and graduated from East Texas Baptist University in 2001.
Mr. Burris is an active member of Immanuel Baptist Church, a youth Baseball and basketball coach and leads the Coaches Outreach Bible study for the coaches at Marshall High School. He also chairs the Real Estate division of the Harrison County United Way.
Brad has been married to Nicki Knox Burris for 11 years and they have three children, Brent-a student at South Marshall Elementary, Beau-a student at South Marshall Elementary, and Bailor who attends First Methodist Day School.

Cathy Marshall was elected to the Board of Trustees in May 2010.
Mrs. Marshall defines herself by faith, family and a love for education. She was raised in Georgia and had a wonderful childhood with four brothers and sisters. She attended Baylor University where she received a BA degree in Elementary Education. While there, she met my husband of 38 years, Ernie Marshall from Marshall.
Mrs. Marshall has a Master's in Curriculum and Instruction and a Mid-Management Certification from Stephen F. Austin. She taught school at Pine Tree Middle School, worked as a consultant at Region VII Educational Service Center, and then served as principal for 17 years at Price T. Young Middle School in Marshall.
Mr. Marshall is a Cerified Financial Planner, their oldest son Jeff is a Major in the USAF, serving as a Special Action Officer in the CAG for Air Mobility and a C-17 Globemaster pilot. Their daughter Janna Ellenburg is an Environamental, Health and Safety Specialist with Chesapeake Energy, and their youngest son, Jonathan, is currently in Germany in German Language School and also playing professional baseball for the Bonn Capitols.
She is a member of Friendship Baptist Church where she teaches Sunday School.
