hall of fame

The Marshall High School Hall of Fame was created to recognize the accomplishments of Marshall Mavericks. The hall highlights all-time wins, athletes who were named to the Texas Sports Writers Association All-State First or Second teams, Distinguished Alumni, and soon recipients of the Alumni Award of Excellence.

Alumni Award of Excellence

The Alumni Award of Excellence will recognize graduates of Marshall High School and Pemberton High School whose achievements, strength of character, and citizenship serve as models to inspire future generations of Mavericks. Awards for as many as three alumni will be given each year for achievement in various fields of service which include, but are not limited to, the arts, athletics, business, education, entertainment, the law, medicine, military, music, philanthropy, politics, public service, religion, scholarship, and science.

The award must be accepted in person; however, awards may also be given posthumously. The recipients will be honored in the fall of the nomination year with a plaque in the MHS Hall of Fame.

Nominations will open on January 4th, 2024.
