Principal

Meet the Principal for MECC!

Hello!

I am excited and honored to serve as the Principal of Marshall Early Childhood Center. I look forward to partnering with you and your family as we help your child learn, grow, and succeed. My goal is to create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing environment where every child has the opportunity to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.  My mission is to continue the campus vision and that is to Make Every Child Count.

My Experience

I have more than 20 years of experience in education, serving students, teachers, and families across Pre-K through 12th grade. Throughout my career, I have served as a teacher, school counselor, and administrator. My goal as a principal is to support our students, empower our teachers and staff, and build strong partnerships with our parents and families. I am dedicated to helping every child develop a strong foundation for future success.

My Education

I earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Kilgore College and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas College. I later earned my Teaching Certification, Master’s Degree in School Counseling, and Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) credentials through LeTourneau University. I also earned my Principal Certification from Lamar University.

I am proud to bring my education, experience, and commitment to serving the students, staff, and families of Marshall Early Childhood Center.

My Mission

My mission is to continue the vision of Marshall Early Childhood Center: Make Every Child Count.

To me, making every child count means recognizing that every child who enters our school is unique, important, and capable of success. It means providing each student with the support, encouragement, and learning opportunities they need to grow.

Together, we will continue building a school where every child is seen, every child is valued, every child is supported, and every child has an opportunity to succeed.

My Why

I believe the early childhood years are some of the most important years in a child's educational journey. This is where children begin developing their love for learning, confidence, independence, and relationships with others.

My goal is for every child who walks through our doors to know that they belong, they are capable, and we believe in them.

I want our teachers and staff to know that they are supported, our parents to know they are valued as partners, and most importantly, our students to know that Marshall Early Childhood Center is a place where they can learn, grow, and shine.

MAKE EVERY CHILD COUNT - Students First • Staff Supported • Families Valued • Growing Together.
