Safety First

Begging Monday, August 29th there No Walkers or Bikers allowed at Marshall Junior High.

Because MJHS is surrounded on both sides by Highway traffic, none of our students should be listed as walkers. All addresses can be delivered by our transportation department.  Again, please know that starting on Monday, August 29th, ALL students will be stopped from walking up the hill.

If your child is a parent pick up, they must be picked up in the back of the school. If you decide to make your student a bus rider, please contact the MISD Transportation Department at (903) 927- 8753.  Please understand that this is a process. If your child is new to our bus system, you must notify the school so we can update your transportation status in Skyward. It takes 24 hours, and transportation will assign you a bus route.  After this process has been completed, your student will be allowed onto the assigned bus.

We understand that this might be inconvenient, but for the safety of our students, this is a needed change in procedure.  Students running across highway 31 has become a safety hazard and a significant concern for the school, district officials, and community. If you have any questions,  you may contact the school at 903-927-8830.

Remember, at MJHS. It’s not for me but for W.E. Excellence. It’s what Mavericks Strive for.
