A PTO (Parent–Teacher Organization) is a school-based, parent-led group that partners with teachers and administrators to support students and build community.
Why join?
For your child: Kids notice when families are involved; it boosts connection, confidence, and often achievement.
For your school: Extra hands for events, teacher support, mini-grants, and enrichment that budgets can't always cover.
For you: Meet other families, get the inside scoop on what's happening, and use (or grow) skills like planning, budgeting, translation, tech, etc.

Go to the next meeting, they are once a month. The next one will be September 11, 5:30-6:30. Popcorn with PTO!
¿Qué es PTO?
PTO (Organización de Padres y Maestros) es un grupo escolar, dirigido por padres, que colabora con maestros y administradores para apoyar a los estudiantes y construir comunidad.
¿Por qué unirte?
Por tu hijo/a: Los niños se dan cuenta cuando las familias se involucran; eso refuerza su conexión, confianza y, muchas veces, su rendimiento.
Por tu escuela: Se necesitan manos extra para eventos, apoyo a maestros, mini subvenciones y actividades que el presupuesto escolar no siempre cubre.
Por ti: Conoce a otras familias, entérate de lo que está pasando y usa (o desarrolla) habilidades como planificación, presupuesto, traducción, tecnología, etc.
