Last week, MHS suspended school operations due to a fire that erupted in the auto shop classroom. MHS Big Red Pride had to delay their UIL performance as a safety precaution to all of our students and staff. On Tuesday October 18th, Big Red Pride traveled to Mt. Pleasant to participate in the UIL Marching Contest where they received straight 1's, and will move on to the Area round. We are Maverick Proud!
