Attention Mavericks!! DCI's 9 time world champion The Cadets will begin warm-up at 7:30 pm and do a full run of their show for you, the Marshall community in Maverick Stadium this evening. They will continue to rehearse after their run through until about 9pm. This is a great opportunity for you to see a killer show, and how a world class corp prepares drill and music. We would love for every band student to be in attendance to support this event. Mr. Windham will have small concessions and possibly a snow-cone stand!

This is a reminder that Panola and the MHS Counselors are hosting an informational meeting tonight at 6 pm in the MHS cafeteria regarding the Associates in Education program. This program is geared toward students who have an interest in a career in the field of education. Come receive information even if your student did not sign up for this pathway. Online student registration for returning students starts Wednesday July 20 through Skyward Family Access. You may visit the Administration Building if you need assistance. Registration must be complete in order for your student to receive a schedule. Thank you!!

Attention parents of bus riders: The Traversa Ride 360 mobile app provides secure access to student routing information, student scans, current bus location, and planned bus paths. Ride 360 provides quick access to your child’s routing information, which can include the bus stop, route, driver, and bus number. Ride 360 can also utilize GPS data to give parents and guardians access to information on where their child’s school bus is, the planned bus path, and what time it is expected to be at their scheduled bus stop. School districts may also send notifications to subscribed users of Ride 360 to inform them of general information such as school closings and delays. Painting has begun for the MHS dance studio and auto shop! We are so excited to see the progress of these two rooms and cannot wait to see the finished results!

Attention Mavericks.... Come one come all as we show our support to MHS senior Tierrani Johnson as she leaves for the State Track Meet this morning. We are asking all that can to line Maverick Drive starting from the Field House toward the Guard shack at 8:20 am. Track staff and Tierrani will be pulling out at 8:30 am. Let's send her off with spirit. Send off will be very brief.
