DUAL CREDIT
Marshall ISD offers dual credit courses in partnership with East Texas Baptist University, Texas State Technical College, and Panola College, giving high school students the opportunity to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously. These courses allow students to experience college-level coursework while still in high school, helping them get a head start on their postsecondary education and explore career and academic pathways.
Dual credit courses provide students with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to succeed in college, while also potentially reducing the time and cost required to complete a college degree after high school. Students interested in enrolling in dual credit courses should meet with their high school counselor to review eligibility, course options, and registration procedures.
