Funds support high quality education programs for migratory children and help ensure that migratory children who move among the States are not penalized by disparities among States in curriculum, graduation requirements, and challenging State academic standards. Funds also ensure that migratory children not only are provided with appropriate education services that address their unique needs but also that such children receive full and appropriate opportunities to meet the same challenging State academic standards that all children are expected to meet.
Marshall ISD will be applying for the 2021-2024 ARP Homeless II Federal Grant in a Share Service Agreement with Region 7 ESC. The intent and purpose of the American Rescue Plan (ARP) 2021, Homeless II (ARP-Homeless II) funding is to increase local education agencies (LEAs) and education service centers (ESCs) capacity to identify, enroll, and provide wraparound services to address the unique needs of homeless children and youth due to the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
This is a U.S. Department of Education (USDE) grant awarded through the Texas Education Agency (TEA). College, Career and Military Preparation (CCMP) aligns with the goals of 60x30 ensuring educational goals address diverse industry needs and opportunities so that all Texas students have access to high-quality pathways to career and college and that 65% of Texas public high school students enroll directly into postsecondary by 2030.
