As the district processes substitute applications in weekly, applicants should allow 1-2 weeks for processing of applications.  The district does not process substitute applications mid-May through mid-July.  Substitute applicants should enter the e-mail addresses of their references when completing an online application in order to expedite processing.

The district values the work of substitutes and appreciates the critical role that subs have in the effective and efficient operation of schools.  Substitutes with Marshall ISD will be compensated once per month and will have the flexibility to accept and choose available assignments. Substitute positions are available for teacher, instructional aide, and nurse positions.
