Marshall ISD will apply for the Rural and Low-Income Schools Program (RLIS) grant for the 2025-2026 year. Marshall ISD plans to use these funds to support the intent and purpose of said grant.

Intent and Purpose:

The purpose of the Rural and Low Income Schools (RLIS) program is to provide financial assistance to rural districts to meet local academic needs. RLIS funds a variety of activities including teacher recruitment and professional development, support for educational technology, parental involvement activities and more.

About $140,000

Summary of planned expenditures:

To meet the intent and purpose of Rural and Low-Income Schools Program (RLIS), we plan to use our entitlement of $140,000 for the purpose of providing tutorials, curriculum resources, and technology.
