Little Mav Academy is a full-day daycare/preschool facility within the Marshall Independent School District specifically to serve children ages 6 weeks to 5 years. Little Mav Academy opened in August of 2018 and is located in the new wing of the old South Marshall Elementary School on Meadows Street.

Little Mav Academy is a State licensed childcare facility, affiliated with the Marshall Independent School District, and located on the campus of Marshall Early Childhood Center. We are licensed to serve children and grandchildren of MISD employees and the community. We operate according to the MISD calendar.

GOALS OF LITTLE MAV ACADEMY
• To provide a safe, loving and supportive environment with predictable routines in which children can grow socially, emotionally, academically and physically.

• To support our parents in their role as their child's first and most important teacher, and to support the community in which we live by being an advocate for quality early childhood education.

OPERATING PHILOSOPHY

We believe that balancing a structured learning environment, coupled with play and discovery, are the best learning methods for early childhood practices. We value our role as early childhood advocates, in order to inspire the lives of children, their family members, and the community we serve.

ENROLLMENT ELIGIBILITY

A child enrolled at Little Mav Academy must be between the ages of six weeks to five years old.
