Maverick Soccer Senior Night will take place on Monday, February 13th! Senior presentation will start at 5:15 and game will start at 5:30. HORNS UP!

Yesterday, the MHS and MJHS Orchestras competed at UIL Contest and Sight Reading. The MHS Orchestra earned a Superior rating in Sight Reading and an Excellent rating on stage. These students have worked incredibly hard to prepare for this contest! Go Mavericks!

Thank you to our maintenance team for everything that you do for MISD! We are grateful for this group of individuals who ensure that our schools continue to look great and work properly.

CTE Month! The last of our CTE pathways offered at Marshall ISD are Education, Health Science, and STEM!

Congratulations to all the MHS students that competed this weekend in the VASE/UIL Art competition in Tyler. Students who received the highest scores and medaled in their division for art were: 9th grade: Wesley Robbins and Mikayla Harman 10th grade: Katia Espinoza, Katherine Sutton, and Sara Weaver 11th grade: Malachi Baird, Alyssa Helton, and Natalie Morales 12th grade: Destiny Brown, Kimberly Gaspar, Andrea Hernandez, Lane Jacket, Racheal James, Flor Montes, Karen Montuerto, Iris Oviedo-Hernandez, Sandy Sanchez, and Carlos Segovia These Mavericks are doing excellent work!

It is with deep regret and sadness that we inform you about the passing of Marshall High School student Savannah Riddle. She will be greatly missed by her peers, teachers, and staff. A counseling team will be available at school to talk with students and support those who knew Savannah. If you’d like your child to speak with a counselor about this news, please contact Marshall High School, and we will make arrangements. Thank you for keeping Savannah’s family in your thoughts during this very difficult time.
