Following both graduation ceremonies this year, all graduates will be escorted off of the field to the front turn around outside of the main entrance of MHS. Once there, guests are welcome to meet their graduate and take photos. There will be several photo props set up in this area. No guests will be allowed on the field after the graduation ceremonies. All gates will remain locked.
Guests may bring bottled water into Maverick Stadium. All other outside food and drink will not be permitted. Be on the lookout for the Mavettes, as they will be selling water.
Confetti is not permitted in Maverick Stadium.
Handicap Parking is available on Maverick Drive and in the M Lot/Senior Parking Lot.
Please remember that Maverick Stadium follows the clear bag policy.

Our schools operate under a “closed campus” policy during testing. Please avoid check outs, deliveries, and lunch visits on testing dates at your student’s campus.

MEGS may be a great fit for students whose situations include one or more of the following:
- Students with extenuating family or health circumstances that necessitate an accelerated education
- Students who have been retained one or more times in high school
- Over-age students who have dropped out of school and are returning
- Students who are married, pregnant, and/or parenting
- Students with extenuating circumstances that put them at risk of not completing high school
- Students who want to accelerate their graduation plan
Out-of-district transfer and new-to-district students are also eligible to apply!

Marshall Early Graduation School is a learning community that supports individual students' social, emotional and academic needs. MEGS provides students an opportunity to succeed in a non-traditional school setting and offers flexibility and credit recovery opportunities to students working toward graduation requirements after the completion of their 9th grade year and having passed more than one state required EOC test.
The program also assists students in the transition from high school to the next phases of their lives which could include college, career, or military.

After communicating with city officials, Marshall ISD will be canceling school today due to the water main break. Parents may keep their students home or come pick them up if they are already at school. Any bus rider students who are already at school may be picked up by their parents. If not, elementary bus routes will begin running at 11:30AM, and MJHS and MHS bus routes will begin running at noon. We will continue to communicate with parents as the day progresses.

Marshall ISD will host a ribbon cutting and open house for the newly renovated Marshall High School on Sunday, May 3, 2026 from 1:00PM-2:30PM. These renovations were made possible through the support of our community with the passage of the 2023 bond.
This is a come and go event, however the ribbon cutting will begin at 1:00PM.
